It is with great pleasure that I am able to recommend to you the Domus Cilento located in Santa Maria della Castellabatte, SA, Italy. I am secure in the knowledge that this pleasant complex of residence style apartments will meet the lodging requirements of most all travelers.
The owner and manager of the Parco, the ever pleasant Vincenzo, lives at the sight and is nearly always available to help if needed. He and his charming wife Dolores are most pleasant hosts whose only aim is to make your stay a pleasurable one.
Consisting of a number of apartments ranging from studios to multi-bedroom units, the Parco sits a little way up the hill from Santa Maria offering spectacular views of the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi coast to the north. Our unit, which we occupied for two weeks in March 2005, and those others that we visited, were all nicely furnished, well stocked and very clean. All units appear to have adequate parking with an electronically monitored gate, private patio and easy access to the pleasing gardens and bathing pool.
The Parco is within walking distance to Santa Maria where one can find everything needed in the way of supplies and services, access to public transportation and of course the beautiful beaches along the Biological Marine Park.
The residence is located on the Punta Licosa peninsula just a short drive south of Agropoli on State Road 267. Situated within the boundaries of the Parco Nazionale del Cilento the area offers endless seaside and mountain excursions. Additionally the area is within easy traveling distance of the many famed historical, archeological and tourist sites of the Naples area. Thanks again!
